Celebrations

This weekend we celebrated a couple things - first off - the start of Chatty's new soccer season. Her team had a scrimmage on Saturday night against a team with girls a year older than Chatty and her teammates. Chatty's team lost but they had fun and played hard. Chatty had the assist on the only goal scored by her team.

On Sunday she was asked to play up on another team from our league.  She held her own with the older girls!  D and I were very proud of her. 

Yesterday D and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary.  The girls spent the night at Nana and Poppa's house so we had a nice quiet afternoon, evening and morning to ourselves!

Happy Anniversary!

DPD and I celebrated our 11th anniversary this weekend. Thanks to Nana and Poppa we had a kid free evening! We had a nice dinner and a quiet evening of football afterwards. We didn't realize how quiet it can be without the girls! We hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend. Ours was good - we had lunch with our good friends the Pattersons and a neighborhood party yesterday and then Thai food at our other neighbors across the street. Today pool time, pizza and football. Too bad our Noles didn't win - even LAD was sad about that (she gets it from her mom). Other than that we had a great weekend. Side Note - I refer to DPD as Mr. ESPN since he loves sports soooo much!
